Mrs. Green was a very well educated, capable and overall successful lady who lacked the clarity she needed in order to set short, medium and long term goals for her business and her personal life. She knew what she wanted, but for some reason she felt there was a lack of structure and direction in her approach. Naturally, this began to frustrate her and affect her overall productivity and happiness. After our initial session, she gained an insight into what she truly wanted and as our sessions progressed, we started to simplify and set her goals, simultaneously, creating plans of action and setting time frames for achieving each one. She is now not only a happier person, but much more in control of her business and where she wants to take it.

Mr. Red was a rather seasoned middle ages gentleman who always undervalued himself and what he disserved. He realized that this was limiting his potential as well as what he was able to provide his family. As he relaxed and answered some of my well placed and probing questions, he came to realize that he believed that an abundance of money was not “Catholically sound”, and that due to his strict religious upbringing he viewed too much money as evil. We discussed this matter in detail, working towards a shift in his belief. Soon enough his attitude completely changed. He began to realise that the more he earned, the more he was able to provide for his loving family, community and the many charities he was involved in. His belief system began to change, and he started to associate abundance of money with opportunities to do good and therefore compliment his personal values. I quite distinctly remember that I compared money to a car, and how it can be used to transport medical equipment, or illegal and habitual drugs; and that the same principal can be applied to money. In the wrong hands, an abundance of money can fuel bad and in the right hands: good. Mr. Red has substantially shifted his beliefs for the better, yet maintained his personal values that are the fibres of his being.

Miss Purple was a typical executive from the city who loved what she did, but hated the idea of giving a presentation at work. Though her job sometimes required her to do so, she always managed to find a way not to. Whether emailing the report to her department, or pretending she’s lost her voice due to a fake cold – Miss Purple always escaped any opportunity to present or make a speech. She finally decided to conquer her fear and as Nike says: “Just Do It”. We discussed and realised that the first and last time she ever had to present was back in the ninth grade. Due to a number of her class mates who made fun of her (mind you she was in her 30’s now and very accomplished), her memory was so painful of that experience that she immediately decided never to make another presentation as long as she lived. We went over the basics rules of a good presentation skills and how public speaking can be a fun art. Art because everyone is different, so naturally they bring their own personal flavour to their presentation which make it unique. After all, Bill Clinton and Ronald Reagan were both excellent speakers, but unique in their own way. We eased the fear, and broke it down so that she could make a powerful and effective presentation at her next meeting. As the saying goes: “Practice does not make perfect, perfect practice makes perfect”. (see: The Art Of Public Speaking)

Mr. Brown was a young and very ambitious man who was extremely frustrated when I first met him. To cut a long story short: he had no idea what he wanted to do with the rest of his life. Naturally this started to affect his overall well-being, and began to create pressure from his family about his future plans. Soon enough we explored his values, what’s important to him etc.. Then we began to create a list of options he can explore further. As we closely worked together on this delicate matter, he manage to identify what his true passion was. He had what we call in coaching: “An Ahhaa Moment”. From then on, we started planning and created a clear road for him to follow, a road that felt right and sounded even better.
